Beneficial Service Length

A member of a mandatory pension fund who has completed an insurance working experience with increased duration that allows age limit decrease for exercising the right to old age pension for at least one year in accordance to Article 118 paragraph (3) of the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, may choose to continue the second pension pillar membership with a written statement for membership extension in the mandatory pension fund within three months from the insurance working experience completion.

In case the mandatory pension fund member, during the term, does not give a written statement for mandatory pension fund membership extension, after this term expires, the mandatory pension fund  membership is terminated.

After the membership termination, the company transfers the total amount of funds from the member’s individual account in the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of the Republic of North Macedonia, in a manner regulated by the Agency. After the funds transfer, the company closes the member’s individual account.
